Book a villa for your family holiday

Many people when planning a family holiday abroad choose to stay in a hotel complex with a swimming pool and restaurants on site catering for all tastes but these holidays do place restrictions on visitors in terms of dining times, space around the pool or in having to share communal areas. A much freer experience can be achieved by booking a villa with a pool and self-catering for meals.

Booking a villa could not be easier as there are plenty of online sites that offer secure booking. This is preferable to booking independently unless you know the owner of the villa and can trust them. The tricky issue is finding flights that tie in with the dates that the villa is available, and you may need to book well in advance to ensure you have flights and accommodation that match.

Taking a holiday in a villa gives you the freedom to be able to eat when you want. You will probably need to hire a car so that you can pay a local supermarket a visit and stock up on essentials. Many villas have a barbeque in the garden that can be used, and local shops usually sell a good range of fresh produce so dining in is not a problem. You will also be able to visit local restaurants and try local traditional dishes perhaps not served in hotel buffet restaurants.

Having your own swimming pool is definitely a plus point for renting a villa and thankfully someone will usually be on hand to carry out routine maintenance on it during your stay.

Do you want a bit more than a beach holiday?

For many, holidays seem to of been a lifetime away and for many of us there is still a good amount of time before we can go away again. Although you may not be comfortable about going away yet, that doesn’t mean you cant still plan for when you can.

A beach holiday can be fantastic, it can be enjoyable for all the family and just what you need when you want to relax. You can enjoy a beach type holiday with family and with friends and most beach resorts also have other places to visit during the evening.

For some, a beach holiday isn’t quite enough. They may want to do something a little more thrilling and try something more adventurous. Going on an adult only holiday

Adults only holidays can be great for people who do not have children or for people who have children but have been able to get away for a few days on their own. Parents should not feel bad about taking a little break away as long as the children are happy to be staying with family or friends.

If you see an adults only holiday advertised, you may think that it is going to be full of young adults that are looking to go on holiday drinking and partying all night, but this is not necessarily the case. Many over 18 resorts stipulate this so there are no young children. They may not be aimed at people who are just over 18. If you are worried about booking this type of holiday, do some research on the web about the resort itself and the local area. You should be able to find out what the nightlife is like and the average age group of people that go.

If you are looking for a clubbing / drink holiday then you may prefer to choose a place that is 18-30 as this often does involve these sorts of activities.

Over 30’s holidays tend to be more about relaxing, eating out at beautiful restaurants and taverns but that does not mean that you cannot go and hit the town if you want to.

Disney World Florida – perfect location for a holiday

Although a holiday may not be top of your priority list at the moment with the recent outbreaks of the virus going around the world, it doesn’t mean you cannot plan for the future.

Disney World in Florida is the perfect location for a family holiday. It is a must for those Disney loving kids and big kids but due to the cost of it, it may be something that you can only do once. As it is in Florida, you not only have to consider the cost of the park and accommodation but also the flights that can cost thousands of pounds. The flight times for the UK to America are also very long, so you may need to plan in advance what you are going to do to keep little ones entertained.

When you arrive at Disney World you will not be disappointed, there is so much to see and do (it really seems a magical place) that you really need at least a few days there. Your children will be mesmerised with the beautiful princess castle, favourite real-life characters and thrilling rides that Disney World has to offer.

Be sure to look out for vouchers and special discounted trips as you really can save a fortune. If you want something a little closer to home then you could opt for Disneyland Paris, which is more scaled down Disney theme park.

Holidays in Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is a Spanish island located within the Canaries. It is a very popular holiday destination for holiday makers all over the world. It is just over a 4 hour flight from the Midlands in England. The hottest days are often in the months of July, August and September but all year round the temperatures are fairly warm. If you want to go and hit the beach or do a spot of sun bathing by the pool then May to June will usually allow for a few days of this.

This island tends to be popular with people of all ages and so is suited to friends and couples as well as families. There are a number of towns in Fuerteventura all of which offer something that makes them worth a visit.

Most of the people who work in the resorts and tourist areas speak English as well as other languages so there is not normally a language barrier.

This island is packed with beautiful golden beaches and clear seas making for the idyllic holiday setting.

You can often pick up an all-inclusive holiday for two for one week in June for about £500-£600 per person. This makes it an affordable option for those on a tight budget.
